I initially airbrushed this piece on illustration board. I then scanned it in and digitally painted on top of it. Manipulating the modelling, lighting and values was so much easier in my computer than trying to work towards a finish in airbrush. |  |

 Some of the finishing details that I enjoyed painting. Claw marks across the U.S.flag decal on the side of her helmet and the weld writing on her thigh.
